What a great night! The ceremony was great! Yes I did shed a tear or two, but how could you not! Their vows were really sweet. The party was not bad either, we tore up the dance floor all night! Jen I hope you and Brian have a great honeymoon, and I cant wait to see you when you get back! I can not stand not talking to you for a week, and its only Tuesday! Love YA

Honey Im Home...Owner!!!!

Finally we are in our house! For about 2 weeks now and loving everything about it! I got to cut the grass the other day and it was a blast. I know yall are like what Jess... but I tell you i enjoyed it and needed the workout!! Jens wedding is this weekend and we just finished setting up the country club last night. It looks beautiful and so will my sister come tomorrow. She is so excited to finally saw her vowes to Brian! It have been over a year since he proposed to her and wow has the time flown by! To all my friends and clients have a great weekend!

This little girl is so adorable! This is the second time I have had the chance to photograph her. We took pictures when she was one and now she is two. Time just flys buy. Keira I hope you have a wonder Halloween! Stay Sweet! This is how she has transformed from last year!

Taylor Family

Stacie is one of my instructors in the Respiratory Care program at Lit. She is awesome you guys, not only as an instructor but as a person as well. She brought her kids out along with Murphy their rabbit to the pumpkin patch at Wesley United Methodist Church on Major Drive. We had such a good time taking pictures. Thank goodness we dodged the rain that day! Stacie I can wait to see your little boys grow up, they are too Cute!

Kaylea's Bridal Pics

Kaylea is just a fun and beautiful person to photograph! Everything lights up when she is around. We photographed her at Tuscany Park on Dowlen road and then headed downtown for a few pics at the old Rio Ritas. ( I keep forgetting the new name of the restraunt). Kaylea is marrying Gus the week before my sisters wedding on a cruise ship going out of galveston. Jarod and I were going to join them on the cruise but I would have not been back for Jenns wedding. I know yall have seen pics of my sister Jennifer, but this is her soon to be husband Brian Ellis! He proposed last year at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas. ( It is an awesome hotel) Look on the website! They are getting married November 14 and then jetting away to Jamaica. I am so jealous! Jarod and I got married in Jamaica 4 years ago and can not wait to go back. I wish the best for the two of you, yall are truly a beautiful couple.

Im Back!

I would love to say I have been backpacking thru Europe for the last month, but in fact I have just been super busy with school, looking for a house, getting into a contract with the house, comming to terms with the sellers ( you know all that easy stuff "yeah right" ) . Our closing date is October 30! And I am so excited it is almost here. The walls are vacant in our apartment, but that is fine with me. I have also been busy with helping Jennifer with her wedding. It is on November 14! We have just a few final touches! We just took her bridal pictures the other day but I can not post them until after the wedding ( you know tradition) but they turned out spectacular! I hope all is well with my clients!

Kaylea & Jennifer

Kaylea and I worked together at the Endocrine Clinic of SETX. She is an amazing person. Completely brilliant, sweet, and hilarious. I photographed her and her fiance Gus before, but this time I got to meet her sister Jennifer. Jennifer is from LSU and they needed some pictures for their parents before she went back to school. My sister was along for the photo-shoot so I had 2 Jens there. ( It got a little confusing..HAHA) Girls yall are absolutely beautiful and I cant wait to see you again!

My Instructor

This is Regina, one of the respiratory therapy instructors at St. Elizabeths. She is a great instructor with a wonderful personality! I was so happy to get the chance to photograph her and her kids. Actually she is having her fourth child this week, so good luck Regina and I cant wait to take pictures of your little bundle of Joy!

Sister

For those who don't know me that well I have a twin sister, Jennifer. Yes we are identical but our personalities are a little different. She is an English teacher at Groves Middle School and she will also be coaching Basketball and Track. Good luck Jen I will be there to cheer you on. She was on a photo-shoot with me the other day so we took a few snap shots of her and Khloe. Love you Sis!

I have already photographed this family for a 75th birthday party and they asked me to come back and take some more pictures of a family get together. They are so great, I feel like a part of their family. I just cant wait to take more pictures!

Its been a while...Sorry

Time is just flying by this year. I have been super busy lately with school and photo-shoots! Sorry I have not been updating my blog with my most recent clients, but I have 17 days off so I am going to get caught. And hopefully get some nice relaxation time before the fall semester starts!

"Deer" John

Here's your proof!  Sorry it took so long to snap these, but here are the deer that pop out every night around 8:00.  I was there til 9 last night getting these.  Since it was so dark I had to open the shutter on my camera for quite a while, that is why the deer look kind of like ghosts.  They just would not stand still.  It kind of turned out pretty cool!  Anyway you know mom just had to get me out there to prove a point that they have deer.  Man she is bossy!  HAHA Love you mom!

This is what becomes of boredom

Not that it is a bad thing!  When I get bored I just pull out my camera and try to capture something unique.  I did  not feel like driving around to find anything so I just set up a little scene.  Something to stifle my creativity.  I found this rose at Market Basket while I was doing a little shopping and I just incorporated a little bit of jewelry.  From there I just poked around in photoshop to see what tools I could use.  I never get to use brush strokes that often in my work, so i decided to use them on these pics.  Enjoy!!!

Summer Fun!

I went out the other day to the water park in Port Neches to meet a friend of mine to photograph her kids.  Cherese has four adorable kids.  Three of them are little and one is almost 16.  They had so much fun running around and chasing the water.  Afterwards to cool down from the sun, we all went out to have ice cream.  Girls I hope yall have a great summer before school starts, and I can't wait to photograph yall again!

Khloe

Jennifer and Brian heading to Galveston this weekend so I get to keep their puppy Khloe!  She is just the sweetest thing, and I get to play Aunt Jessica this weekend and spoil her.  Khloe is a mix breed puppy with a quirky personality that keeps you laughing.  We ran a few  errands today and since she was so good I brought her to Petco and she got to pick out her own toys.  I know, I know im turning into one of those crazy dog lovers!  Jen Khloe misses you!  Have fun this weekend guys! 

All alone in Blog Land!

Well I get on my website and check my blog about every day and there are no comments!  Does anyone have anything to say?  HAHA  Well in the meantime I guess this will just be a way to just talk about anything.  It is Tuesday morning and I made the mistake of getting up at 4:00 to be at Baptist Hospital at 5:00 when really I have to be there tomorrow!!! AHHHH.  When I walked into the respiratory dept. everyone was like wow your early, I though you were comming here on wednesday and I said Is it not wednesday!  After looking at my schedule I drove back home and got about an hour nap.  Now Im heading to St. Elizabeths!  Its shaping up to becoming a long day.  Feel free to comment on my mishap!  No blonde jokes thought. HAHA. But the early bird gets the worm!!

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a great 4th!  Jarod and I did not do too much because he was working on nights, so we spent lunch with his family and I had dinner with mine.  Brian, my sisters soon to be husband, cooked a great briskett on the pit along with some stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon! Yum Yum!! Well it turned out to be a beautiful day, but a hot one as well.  So everyone stay cool cause its going to get hotter!
